The 20 activities on this “Summer” disk are editable and easily adapted to suit all children aged 2 – 5. The plans can be used independently and fitted in around your other summer time themes, or in larger settings with older children, they can be combined with the “Opposites” disk to provide lots of interesting experiences over the summer weeks. Included on the disk is a blank planning sheet so that it easy to add your own favourite summer activities in the same format.
The plans on the “summer” disk involve investigating strawberries and making a summer pudding, finding out about bees, butterflies and caterpillars, and tasting and painting water melons and pineapples.
Week one features letter H, summer clothes, and a picnic! In week two we concentrate on letter B mini beasts and planting.
The children explore patterns on butterflies and creating indoor and outdoor role play holiday scenes.
