The 20 activities on this “Christmas Colours” disk are editable and easily adapted to suit all children aged 2 – 5. The plans can be used independently and fitted in around your Christmas parties and Nativity plays, or in larger settings with older children, they can be combined with the “Winter” or “Christmas Post“ disks. Included on the disk is a blank planning sheet so that it easy to add your own favourite Christmas activities in the same format.
The plans on “Christmas Colours” involve investigating RED, WHITE, GREEN, SILVER and GOLD!
Activities include making red Christmas tree decorations, building white cardboard snowmen and green peppermint creams. Week one features letter S and lots of snowmen and snowy environments. In week two we concentrate on letter G and collections of green objects.
The children explore patterns and make their own wrapping paper and, in preparation for the Christmas party, a very colourful laminated place mat.
